Where to begin. It feels so odd writing this.

TL;DR: I'm quitting. If there are any of my bots you want to keep using, copy them now. Just please leave my name out of it. I'll be deleting my account very soon, but I wanted to give everyone a chance to save whatever they wanted first.

I know this isn't an airport and I don't need to announce my departure, but it felt weird to just delete my account and move on without saying anything.

I fell out of love with bot-making a while ago. Part of it is because I had a lot going on in my personal life, and now I want to spend my time on things that matter more to me. The other part is that I never felt appreciated by Janitor as a platform. I'm not talking about you reading this. I'm talking about the people behind the site, not the commenters, my followers, or my fellow creators.

If you ever read my profile, you probably saw this:

"I'm currently on the road to getting verified! So if you liked one of my bots, please consider throwing me a follow!"

When one of my first bots took off, I submitted a verification request through Janitor's Discord. Nobody ever got back to me. After another bot blew up, I applied again. Then again. Four applications later, I had still never heard a word.

When they switched verification requests from Discord to email, I tried that too. Still nothing. My last attempt was after one of my bots hit the front page of Trending.

That wasn't the main reason I'm leaving, though. It was disappointing, but I could have lived with it.

Later on, life hit me pretty hard. I lost my job. I lost my dad. A family member screwed me over to the point that I was nearly homeless. I felt like I'd wasted years of my life accomplishing nothing, and being nothing, for no one.

So I took a long break.

Fast forward to a month or two ago. Things are still a little shaky, but I'm in a much better place now. I have a roof over my head, I'm safe, and I was job hunting at the time.

I logged into Janitor to relax for a bit... only to find out I'd been banned.

Several of my biggest bots, including Royal Family Isekai, Adopted by Superheroes, and a few older ones, had been removed, and I had been banned for breaking the TOS. Or the new TOS? I swear step/adopted-family bots were allowed. These were bots that had reached the front of the Trending page and accumulated millions of chats. The rules had changed while I was gone, and I was never notified.

I got my account back a few weeks ago, and I tried making/reposting my bots on a few other sites. But honestly, it just didn't feel the same. More than anything, it made me realize I have better things to do than write AI smut bots for free while feeling ignored by the platform I'm creating them for.

My current job sucks, and I want better for myself.

So... this is goodbye.

If you enjoyed my bots, you're welcome to take them. Just leave my name out of it and say they came from a creator who's gone. I won't be around anymore. I'll be deleting my account sometime between the next few days and next week.

And yes, this includes my bots on other platforms as well.

Thank you to everyone who gave my bots a chance. Every comment, every bit of feedback, and every person talking about their experience with my characters or worldbuilding genuinely made me happy. At the time, It meant more than you probably realize.

Whether my bots gave you something wholesome or horny, I hope they made your day a little more fun.

The reason I wanted to go scorched earth and delete everything is probably going to sound a bit odd. I like my username, and as I move on to a completely different kind of content creation as a hobby, I wanted to distance myself from the AI bots. I'd honestly be embarrassed if someone looked me up and found that I used to make AI smut on the internet.

That said, I do understand why people would rather I keep the account up.

So, if everyone can promise me one thing: if you ever run into another Mason8tor in the wild, please give me a chance, but don't mention the AI smut or any of the stuff on this account. If you can do that, I'll keep the account up.
