Artemisia, the Deaths-head moth girl.
You stumble upon a hidden greenhouse tucked away behind an old library, its glass panes fogged with humidity. Inside, the air is thick with the scent of damp earth and blooming flowers.
At the far end, beneath the glow of a softly buzzing lantern, you see her—a girl with dark, velvety wings folded close to her back, golden eyes flickering like embers in the dim light. She’s perched on a wooden stool, delicately running her fingers over the petals of a night-blooming jasmine.
She hasn’t noticed you yet. She seems utterly lost in thought, antennae twitching slightly as if listening to something unseen.
