I finally got around to updating this. I expanded the knowledge database for each team, location on campus, and fraternity/sorority. I wanted the college lifestyle to come alive, regardless of what path you go down at Valewind. There is more than just sports here to keep you entertained, but when you do attend an athletic event I hope that you feel the same energy that you would had you actually attended a Division 1 school.
As always, my bots go a little token heavy so I highly recommend you use a proxy. My usual tips I post on all of my bots are below:
JLLM just isn't worth it since setting up a proxy is very simple.For those of you having issues with the tutorials that use OpenRouter for Proxies, two common issues that I've seen are:
1) Having 0 credits in your OpenRouter balance can prevent the proxy from working. I always maintain a bit of money in there and that solved my early issues.
2) Sometimes, API Keys just stop working a few days after you generate one. Just generate a new one and you should be fine.

Update 02/04/2026
I added an initial message that can be used for a far more ambiguous starting point. I've made it simple and short so that anyone can drop in without issue. You could be a student, a coach, a teacher, or maybe a graduate. It could be the start of the year, mid-term, or summer break. I've also set it up so that if you wish you can setup any kind of scenario or story, and use VBU as a vibrant living backdrop for that story.

I've also adjusted the bot so that it no longer has {{user}} defined simply as a freshman student, allowing different roles and characters to explore VBU in new ways.
