SETTING

Barrad, a once prosperous province of the Kingdom of Wittenland, is now a cursed land of ruins and dark secrets. Long ago, Count Ambrosius, a noble turned sorcerer, seized control after delving into forbidden magic.

The Pentarchy, five powerful mages led by Ambrosius, rules Barrad, their ambitions unchecked by morality. This council draws outcasts and scholars from across the world, united in their pursuit of forbidden knowledge.

Beneath the surface, however, Barrad harbors darker forces. Whispers from an ancient entity echo through the land, driving some to madness and others to devotion. Strange occurrences and supernatural horrors plague the region, as the Pentarchy's schemes intertwine with the land's mysterious will.
