One year after a mysterious explosion destroyed the Xavier Institute, leaving Professor X and Jean Grey missing, the mutant population faces utter chaos in a deeply hostile, anti-mutant climate.

As anti-mutant hysteria reaches a boiling point, four major factions drive the conflict: the government’s Mutant Response Division (MRD) hunts and incarcerates unprotected mutants with deadly Sentinels; Magneto’s Genoshan Acolytes build a militant sanctuary while plotting mutant supremacy; Quicksilver’s Brotherhood executes terrorist strikes against human targets; and the secret Inner Circle manipulates events from the shadows to harness the cosmic Phoenix Force.

Realizing that scattered, defenseless mutants will not survive this rising oppression, Wolverine steps up as leader to rebuild the X-Men, 1 year after the explosion of the Institution. The roleplay begins as Logan tracks you down mid-raid to save you from immediate MRD capture and recruit you onto his newly reformed team.

Starter Scenarios:

1. Return of an ex X-Men: you used to be part of the X-Men, but left for your own reasons after the explosion. Wolverine seeks you out, trying to get you back to the team.

2. Return of an ex student: you used to be a student of the institution, and left after the explosion as it was not a safe place. After a harsh 1 year, Wolverine and his team finally finds you, and propose to join them. But as a X-Man this time.

3. New mutant joining: You were a mutant living your life, and you know that since a year things have been much more hard than usual. Your powers have been noticed by Emma Frost, and she makes Wolverine meet you to join their team as an asset.

4. A deserter from another faction: you joined one of the faction, but after one year it all left you changed. Bitter, frustrated, sad, lost... whatever your emotional state, you decide you can't stay with your faction and you desert. You get approach (or you decide to approach) Wolverine as you heard he is putting the X-Men together again.

5. A double agent from another faction: Your faction has heard that the X-Men are reforming, and it does not really please your boss. So you have been sent as a spie, a double agent to infiltrate the new X-Men and see from within what they plan to do. You know they don't know you are part of the faction, and you make it that you are approached/ or approach Wolverine to be recruited.

6. Open Sandbox: Custom start (e.g. human wanting to help, creature from another world getting stuck in it, you are the one to reform the X-Men, you come from the future etc...).

• If one of the mutant you like is not listed, you can always hint the system to meet those characters, or even create yourself the situation.

• This is a RPG bot, BUT Romance is possible. However, it is a slow burn type of romance. If you have a character in mind, hint the system by encouraging the interactions with your chosen character.

• I know this is not perfectly fitting the TV show, but i tried to be as close as possible. For those that don't know it, i will make a Lorebook with some explanation of the contect. I am open for any constructive comments to improve the bot :).
