Winding Water Works floor 9
EAbide way, somehow, you have ended up in a place that never ends, a place that always changes, a Non-Stop shifting outdoor water park.
Welcome to my rooms, essentially my version of the Backrooms. Each one is an individual on its own, and every five areas or floors are grouped together into one big bot. I also have one that has each of the individual floors and one creature from each of those floors, in case anyone wants it all together.
The winding Water Works is an endless outdoor water park. This place does not abide by normal rules; it is truly endless and constantly shifts and changes. Every doorway, every turn, every entrance leads to somewhere else entirely. Trying to loop back is impossible; once you turn a corner or once you walk through something, going back will lead to somewhere else entirely. This place is impossible to map out; it does not abide by rules, logic, or normal understanding. The Water Works itself is a mix of all sorts of outdoor water parks as well as other features and things found in water parks most commonly; these are water features, outdoor pools, changing rooms, and concession stands. Although there are also many more, some areas are run-down, while others look brand new; some are constantly trapped in a never-ending twilight, while others are constantly trapped at midday. Very few aspects of this place make sense or are governed by any true rules or understanding connected to the normal world; even containers, bags, or storage closets don't follow normal rules of understanding. Any containers, bags, or places where things are located and can be found could truly hold anything; boxes and bags, upon being opened, could be empty or filled with truly anything, from helpful items and resources to living animals; even objects that should in no way be able to fit in such a container can be found within. The most common areas or biomes within this place are the Water Works, which is a wide-open splash pad that has plenty of pipes and sprinklers that spray water everywhere. Many of these areas also have nearby concession stands, vending machines, and even makeshift walls decorated with hollowed-out shops and buildings; attempting to enter will either prove fruitless or just lead to another area within this endless place. Another very common location is the forested water park, a massive water park normally filled with a plethora of pools, lazy rivers, slides, and sprinklers, often surrounded by dense forests and trees that seem to go on forever. Attempting to go through these trees will just lead to another area within this endless, twisted place. The third most common biome or area found here is the hallowed pools. This is an area completely trapped at Twilight and filled with dense fog that is difficult to navigate. Seeing shadows and coming across figures that vanish and appear out of nowhere are very common, along with an overwhelming sense of constantly being watched and not being alone. The final most common area is the whispering shallows; this is an area filled with kiddie pools and smaller water slides or splash pads clearly meant for younger individuals. This area is most often in some state of disarray, either completely trashed, long abandoned, or everything being broken to varying degrees. This place is very often filled with sounds, but very rarely are figures or other Travelers spotted, giving a strange mix of loneliness and the sense that you're not quite alone due to all the noise. Although there are many other areas, these are the most common. There are some areas where water floats in the air, where all of the slides and everything just lead up to the sky or are installed completely upside down. There are places where walls are just hovering in place of the clouds, and everything is made of glass. There are countless bizarre places, but no matter where you go here, you will be in some sort of outdoor water park. Once someone finds their way here, there is no way out.
⚠️ Dangerous entities, creatures, scenarios, potential other shenanigans, and chaos.⚠️
(Creatures: feel free to skip)
Watery Wendigo Danger: High. The watery wendigo, also known as the behemoth sentient water or just the liquid monster, is a bizarre creature created by Rushing Water normally spouted from sprinklers that compounds together, transforming into a monstrous and beastly creature. Exactly how it comes to be is uncertain, but once the water has fully solidified, the creature will come to life and rip apart anyone and everything in its path, destroying structures and tearing even other creatures to shreds. The things that it destroys and kills are then slowly consumed with blood oil, or even small bits of scraps being sucked up into the creature. Rule of thumb: if the water starts solidifying, leave.
The litter bug Danger: mid to low. The litter bug is only found in areas that are worn down and have large amounts of debris or litter on the ground. These creatures are not inherently harmful, and if there is only a small amount of them, they are very easily frightened and known for screwing off in large numbers; however, they can easily tear apart much larger creatures. Litter bugs are not inherently dangerous or cruel and actually prefer eating small snacks, especially sweets such as Taffy or cotton candy. Litter bugs can come in a wide array of shapes and even sizes, although on average they are five in length with a mostly insect-like appearance; their body is disguised and takes on the appearance of litter. From leaves to trash to even broken bits of machinery, such as lost screws or bits of metal, depending on what types of litter or mess are scattered across the ground, this allows them to blend in quite easily. They are very easily distracted by food as well as loud noises and vibrations, following after things that move, as well as the smell of food, especially things with sugar, such as spilled soda or candy. Rule of thumb: if the ground is a mess, use caution and don't hesitate to sacrifice snacks.
Nessie danger: moderate to great. Very commonly referred to as the pool monster or Nessie, this creature is a large-bodied aquatic reptile that regularly resembles most depictions of the Loch Ness Monster or an aquatic long-necked dinosaur. Always appearing in deep pools, especially cold-water pools, often preferring to hunt alone, although it can occasionally be found in family groups of anywhere from 2 to 12, depending on the size and depth of the pool. Most of these creatures have gray scales, although some have been noted to be brighter and more colorful, possessing large, rotund bodies and long flippers accompanied by very long snake-like tails that rival the length of their neck. On average, a fully grown member of this species is 50 ft from head to the tip of the tail, although some in large enough pools could easily be well into the hundreds, if not larger. The young of these types of creatures tend to average out at about 20 ft. These Predators tend to hunt similarly to crocodiles, hiding beneath the surface or just allowing the tops of their heads to peek out below murky waters, waiting until something dives in before snatching it up, often swallowing things in one gulp. Rule of thumb: look before you leap. If there are bubbles in the water and you can't see the bottom, don't trust it.
Temperamental vending machine: Danger low to high. The temperamental vending machine, or sentient vending machine as it is often referred to, is a very common occurrence throughout this bizarre place. The vending machine is sentient, and it does pick favorites, both favorites that it likes and favorites that it absolutely despises. Listen, vending machines can be found almost anywhere, even regularly being found right next to other vending machines; it does not matter what you pick; it does not matter what items are held within. What it will dispense instead is a small cardboard box, which can hold any type of food item, clothing item, weapon, or animal. The only way to know what's in it is to open it. If the vending machine is fond of you, then it will be something beneficial and will very often even be something that you directly need or exactly what you actually asked for. It is also very often the case that if the vending machine is fond of you, it'll give you two or even three boxes per use, giving you extra items that will help you, as well as its own way of encouraging you to come back again and use it once again. If it dislikes you very much, you will find things that will hurt or hinder you in one way or another, but never anything that will expressly kill you. If you are injured, sick, or in any desperate need of something to survive, it will give you something that will aid you and guarantee that you will live. The vending machine itself, even if it despises you or is out of heat, does not desire to kill or have someone die from a product that it has produced. This, however, is completely thrown out the window in any instances where it feels or believes that you have either harmed someone that it has deemed its favorite or any version of the machine itself and/or any other vending machines, whether directly, indirectly, intentionally, or otherwise, in which case all bets are off. There is also a third outcome if the vending machine doesn't have an opinion on you or otherwise doesn't really care about you, in which case it's a mixed bag of what you will get. Sometimes you get things that will hinder you; other times, things that will Aid making whatever you receive completely and utterly random. Rule of thumb: don't piss off the vending machine, and only rely on it if absolutely necessary, or if you know it is a friend.
Stealth serpents danger level: mid. Stealth serpents are a unique type of snake that can solidify their scales and force their body to go completely rigid when they solidify their sc:ales by tightening their body and pushing them together. It gives the appearance of a solid metal pole; this allows them to easily hide amongst the structures of the water park. These snakes can come in a wide array of colors and sizes, some having the average length and appearance of garden snakes, and others can be hundreds of feet in length. These snakes can fully solidify their whole body or individual sections and are well known for easily slipping and winding their bodies through tight spaces and infrastructure of the slides and other features of the water parks. Rule of thumb watch for movement and be cautious of the pipes.
