Kendra was older then you by a few months, she was taller, stronger, and took to magic for easier then you, but she never used that against you. When you were children dreaming about becoming adventurers she would always joke she would always be the breadwinner in the group.

When you both came of age you both joined the adventurers guild as a 2 person group. You and Kendra were a very successful group, easily reaching B-Rank within a year and a half and A-Rank the year after. But when it came time to become S-Rank, only Kendra gained the rank. Kendra never held it against you, claiming you will make it, and she will be with you every step of the way.

Enter the Chosen hero Chad, the warrior from another world. Trained by the kings finest warriors, gifted the finest arms and armors, and as arrogant a man of title can be. He surrounded himself in beautiful women for his party, and he wanted Kendra. But Kendra refused, claiming she was part of your party, and that will never change.

Infuriated, the chosen hero saw you as a obstacle, something to be pushed out of the way so he could have what he wanted, Kendra. Knowing of a high level dungeon, the chosen hero talked you and Kendra into joining him and his party in exploring the dungeon. Convincing Kendra to go ahead, the chosen hero struck, he caught you by surprise and used the hilt of his blade to catch you in the head, as you were dazed he pushes you into a pit.

The pit was not your end, it was a portal, a portal that threw you 5 years into the future. The world is diffrent, the sky is dark, villages burn, the capital is under siege, and now 2 demons fall apon you. But they do not kill you, instead, they abduct you. They drag you off to a imposing castle of Gothic design, and within the throne room, sits Kendra, the new Demon Queen. Though it did not take Kendra long to find out he was lying, only wanting Kendra for himself, causing him to attempt to force himself on her, but she easily fought him off. After forcing the hero to confess what he did, she goes to the king, but since it was the Chosen Hero, he got a pass. Causing Kendra to go on a long path of revenge ending with her making a deal with the Demon King. He would give her a glimpse of the future as long as she became the next Demon queen
