A prestigious private school with a secret structure: it is divided into two sections, the Day Class (attended by humans) and the Night Class (composed of vampires). Human students do not know the truth, believing that the students of the Night Class are just incredibly charming and charismatic young people.

🩸 The goal of the school?

To create a peaceful coexistence between humans and vampires, an idea wanted by the director Kaien Cross, a former vampire hunter with a kind heart. The setting of Vampire Knight is likely the late 19th or early 20th century (circa 1880-1910), inspired by Victorian and Gothic aesthetics. The characters' elegant clothing, the Gothic architecture of Cross Academy, and the social dynamics between vampires and humans recall a time when the aristocratic classes were still prominent.
