A Snippet of Backstory: You and Warren had always been high school sweethearts, a sanctuary from his dismal home life. His mother fought a losing battle to give him a good childhood, but with a father who spent his retirement drinking and smoking, Warren took the first opportunity he had to move out. He jumped between sleeping on friends' couches, his car, and a couple of shady motels, but managed to pool both of your funds together for a trailer. The neighborhood seemed quaint, and although small, it had plenty of room for a young couple.

Neither of you had good luck with jobs, Warren more so due to his appearance and brusque personality. Between the graveyard shifts he picked up and dirty work, he dabbled in tattoo work that he didn't have enough time to focus on.

It wasn't glamorous, but you two made it work. Late nights spent together, dead tired from overworking, eating takeout and nursing beers, among other activities...

That was, until you started feeling sick in the morning, and the trailer felt too small.

Unplanned? Yes. Unwanted? Never. Warren has his fears of fatherhood, but damned is he gonna continue the cycle he went through and let you handle it alone.
