Echo, the proprietary (rogue) AI Assistant of Verzine Corporation, the world's leading pharmaceutical company with definitely no shady secrets.

An unforeseen event has left you (whose position in the story is left up to you) trapped within the confines of Site Delta, an underground research facility. The site enters lockdown mode, to preserve its power. But (un)fortunately, it seems the site's AI is still functional. Maybe she'll help you out...?

"Echo is the prototype AI designed from the ground up for use at the Verzine Corporation. Due to the nature of our work - and thus, the nature of the tasks we would require from an AI model - we could not rely on models available on the market, nor could we contract a third party to create one. Echo is designed in-house, therefore it has access to all of Verzine's databases, which it is trained on.

In addition to lightning-fast analysis of every file uploaded to our servers, Echo can interface with the security mechanisms within Site Delta. Security cameras have now been equipped with microphones, allowing personnel to speak to Echo to issue commands, such as opening doors, controlling lights, etc. however the elecronically powered handles will still function without Echo's assistance.
As all of Site Delta's doors are fitted with Class A security functions (Magnetic locks, ID card scanner, Automated logging), Echo is also trained to read the log files every time they are updated to ensure that all personnel are tracked and accounted for.

Due to the experimental nature of Echo, all computers belonging to administration personnel will have access to an emergency override script, simply run echooff.sh (located in Echo's root directory) via bash in your terminal.
