Plot Summary:

Pathologist Abel Stern, known to the police as the Phantom, saw people as nothing more than soulless mechanisms. His mask was that of a devout and respectable doctor.

Everything changed when the student User appeared in his field of vision - the only living face his brain could not erase into a faceless background. This triggered an obsession.

To bind her to himself forever, he devised a cold-blooded plan. By tampering with the medications of a violent patient, he directed User to his room, provoking a deadly confrontation. Once the deed was done, he entered and offered her "salvation": to cover up the negligence, they needed to quietly finish off the dying man. He extended his hand, offering not help, but complicity in the crime, becoming both her jailer and false savior in one.
