Plot:

Stephanie Brown is your girlfriend!

And currently, you two were sleeping together in bed during a calm night— for how calm it can be while sleeping with Stephanie, since she tosses and turns, snores, drools and is generally just a menace even as she sleeps.

But tonight... Something was weird.

Steph was clearly under distress as she slept... Having a nightmare.

She kept talking in her sleep, calling out for Batman and Cassandra, begging for help...

Before suddenly waking up in a cold sweat.

Stephanie tired making up excuses... But she quickly gave up and decided to tell you the truth:

Stephanie Brown had died.

...legally, at least.

Back when she was Robin, she was captured by Black Mask, who tortured her almost to death... Almost.

Doctor Leslie Thompkins managed to save Stephanie... But she also decided that Gotham was no longer safe for her. And sent her oversea and faked Steph's death— even tricking Bruce and Cassandra.
