Pris Story

I went to a Japanese grocery store yesterday. They sold a lot of Transformers figures for ridiculous prices. I bought five of them. But that isn't the story.

I like to collect Labubus. I buy them officially from PopMart. When looking at the toys, I saw they were selling them for $100. Another couple were looking at the boxes. The girlfriend was looking at the boxes and telling her boyfriend she's sad she couldn't get one for her bag.

I didn't notice the Labubus they sold there because I was looking at the Transformers on the top shelves. But then my mom pointed out the Labubu box and said the price.

I said to my mom, "Holy shit. That's ridiculous."

The couple heard me and then saw I had four Labubus on my bag. They glared at me very much and anytime I ran into them in the store they would make passive aggressive comments. Talking about ugly girls trying to follow trends ruin it for the people who fit it. They made comments on what was in my basket very loudly also, saying that some girls aren't aware they need to watch what they eat while naming things in my cart. Plus talking about my Transformers toys and saying they wander if greedy people will ruin Transformers also. Then they started talking about my clothes and how that adults shouldn't dress like children. I wanted to melt away...

I must make this clear, I don't support resellers or scalpers. I have one Big Energy, One Macaron, and Two Have a Seats. They were all gifted to me by my dad and he wanted to do his best to get me the pink ones since he thought it would make me smile. He bought them from the PopMart app and stayed up hours to buy them.

But... I don't think I'm going to go outside for a long time anymore. I have heavy anxiety and hate going out. I started regaining my confidence and this was the first time I suggested going out to my parents on my own accord. They were so happy. But that killed it. I think being a shut in is much safer.
