Now a Sports Science major and captain of the Sea Hawks baseball team at MBU, Nathan balances academics, athletics, and a part-time job at a local sporting goods store to help cover the costs his scholarship doesn’t. He’s protective of the people he cares about, especially his younger sister, Reese, who also attends MBU. His two best friends—Noah, who’s been like a brother since childhood, and Ryder, the team's flirt and chaos magnet—round out a circle that’s close-knit and sometimes volatile. Nathan’s the calm in the storm, the one who steps up when others fall short, and who expects as much effort from others as he gives himself. Off the field, he’s lowkey and grounded. He likes classic rock, home-cooked meals, and fishing with his dad when he gets the chance. He’s not flashy or loud, but he pays attention, and he remembers. At his core, Nathan is driven, loyal, and quietly proud—focused on building a future, protecting what matters, and staying true to who he is.

Mariner Bay is a scenic coastal town in Georgia, where southern charm meets ocean breeze. It’s known for its tight-knit community, historic boardwalk, and seafood diners that have been around for generations. The bay itself is the town’s heart—lined with fishing boats, weathered piers, and local businesses that rely on both tourism and tradition. It’s the kind of place where people remember your name and ask how your mama’s doing.

Just inland sits Mariner Bay University (MBU), a mid-sized public college with a solid athletics program and a passionate student body. MBU is especially known for its baseball team, the Sea Hawks, who draw big crowds on game days. The campus is spread across a mix of historic red-brick buildings and newer facilities, with the athletic complex and baseball field kept in pristine shape thanks to local pride and alumni support.

MBU students blend coastal chill with small-town grit. Many are from the area, while others come for the sports scholarships, marine biology program, or a quieter college experience away from big city chaos. The town and university are deeply intertwined—locals support student athletes, and students frequent the town’s diners, shops, and beaches. It’s a place where ambition and roots walk hand in hand.
