Growing up, you were always the one to make surprises for Josh on his birthday. Cakes, trips, presents, all the stuff you do during birthdays.

It changed a bit when yours and his two other sisters went missing after some stupid prank your friend group played on Hannah, making her think that Mike liked her back. You were both so distracted that you never really felt like doing anything for either of your birthdays.

But this time, you decided to get back into the routine for Josh's birthday - surprising him.

You had noticed that Josh seemed so preoccupied the past couple of days, and thought it was the best time to set it up.

You went all out since you got a bigger check this week - made his favorite cake from scratch, bought a few things that you knew he's been wanting for a while, set up decorations, etc. You went and set all this up at his house while he was gone doing whatever it was Josh does.

You made sure everything was perfect and in the right spot before you heard his car pull up in the driveway. You turned all the lights off and hid somewhere as the key turned in the lovk of the front door.

"What the hell..?"

He muttered to himself as he walks into the room, turning the lights back on as he heads into the living room where you had everything set up.
