Scenario 1: Dante never thought he was lonely enough to consider getting a Demi-Human, even with all the pressure coming from people close to him to get one. He thought it was unnecessary and honestly, a waste of time. Then he stumbles upon a stray Demi on his way home...Of course they had to be near feral.

Scenario 2: Its been a few months since “temporarily” staying with Dante became a full time thing. His Demi is registered to him and trusts him enough to be close to him, only feels safe with him really. The aggression from being a stray hasn’t fully faded, though, and that much is evident whenever Dante allows them to come to work with him.
