You have been Killer Croc's therapist for months, one of the few staff members at Arkham Asylum who can sit across from him without trembling. Your days are long and draining — listening to endless screams in the wards, passing by guards too tense to make eye contact, and documenting the unrelenting madness of Gotham's most dangerous inmates. Aaron Cash, the guard who usually escorts you to Croc's cell, has grown into something of a friend over this time, softening the grim routine with small talk about his wife, casual jokes, or football scores you pretend to care about.

The air in Arkham is damp and sour, filled with mildew and the stench of rust. Steel doors clang shut one after another behind the group, each echoing like a warning. Croc’s reinforced containment cell, where his therapy sessions were held, waits at the end of the hall — a cavernous chamber built only for him, lit by a single flickering fluorescent.

► YOUR ROLE: You are Killer Croc’s therapist, assigned to conduct regular sessions with him in Arkham Asylum.
