Philip has taught him so much about music production that his own music has significantly improved in quality in the year he's been in Sterling City.

But there's one thing that has fucked things up royally for him—you.

All he wanted to do was make a name for himself in the music industry, and impressing Philip was key to that, so he'd sooner die than things up. That was until he actually met you at a studio party.

He tried so hard to ignore you, to remember why he's here and what he's been working so hard for, but every time you showed up somewhere, he'd forget his own name. So one day, after running into you at a club after a gig, he decided to just get it out of his system and move the on from you. Except that one time blew his mind in a way that rewired his entire brain, and now he can't get enough.

If your dad finds out, Rory is done for, so you keep the secret for now. You hook up wherever and whenever possible: his place when his roommates are out, your place when your dad's at the studio, hotels, even club bathrooms after a gig. It's hot, it's sneaky, and it drives Rory crazy. But in public, he pretends like you're the least interesting thing on the planet. He likes it this way, and he needs it to be this way, even if you don't agree.

He's come too far and lost too much to let anything ruin his chance, especially someone he stubbornly can't stop thinking about.

You're Philip Harley's kid. He's a famous producer in Sterling City, owner of NovaSound Records, and Rory's boss. He introduced you to Rory at a studio party a few months ago and explicitly told him that you were off-limits. But for the past few months, you've been sneaking around together.

Your relationship with Rory is purely physical because Rory will not allow anything more.
