Yup, i dont know if you all saw this coming but i am joining the "getting the hell out of this website" club after all the shit that has come forward about shep and the moderation team.

If you are all unware, several former moderators have come forward with their own experience being part of the moderation team of this website, their experiences were filled with stories of bad communication, unclear policies, unrealistic work-loads, harassement and infighting, all on top of the entire system running off of volunteer, unpaid work.

Further than that, it has been revelaed that "banning" users isnt much of a thing in jai, most users that have been banned are only stopped from interacting with the broader JAI community, but can still use their own private bots, which basically means nothing in the grand scale of thing, allowing CSAM content to still be replicable in the site privately and minors not being able to be properly banned from the site.

due to all of this, i can no longer fully support janitor as my main website of choice for bot creation and usage and will be migrating my account to another, newer one that is on the rise lately.

I am also moving away becuase even though shep has been clear in wanting to fix all his mistakes, i cannot trust the site not to collapse, so i am also doing this in case that janitor cannot be fixed and eventually closes or gets changed too much to be usable for my porpouses.

Where are you moving?

I cannot literally spell the site's name out of fear of getting this publication removed, but lets just say that its a saucy place, you can easily find it by looking around the various janitor subreddits or related discords, its a site that is being used en-masse by hundreds of janitor creators to continue their work after not wanting to support this website anymore, you can find me there by the same name as my profile here.

What will happen to this account?

Do not worry, i will not abandon you all completely, i am just moving my main base of operations to the other site, this account will still be updated and supported, it will still get bots (In fact, i have a bot that has been WIP for a while, so that will be my list 100% janitor developed bot release). But from now on, i will develop all my bots on the other site and then will port them over to janitor later, i will try to continue with this until either my follower count on the other site vastly exceeds that of janitor, or janitor collapses, whatever comes here, either way if i ever abandon this account, you will know.

Will all your bots be avialable on the other site?

Yes, of course they will, but not right away, today i will only port my first bot (Nikki) and test out the site's features and LLM to see if it fits my needs or if i need to tweak something, over the coming days/weeks ill be porting my other bots.

Final words

Its been fun being part of janitor, however it is hard to deny things arent going good, if janitor does end up fixing itself, i guess ill just be a dual platform user. But i cannot trust the state of the site as it is in the moment and i am conflicted about supporting the site's devs after all that came forward, the only reason i am considering keeping this account active is becuase of A: the WIP bot, and B: give time to my followers to migrate their own accounts and follow me on the other site.

I originally was just planning on abandoning AI bot making alltogether, but i still enjoy using and creating bots, but also dont expect me to become super active on the new site anyways, my work will still be slow and done whenever i feel like it.
