I’ve seen many characters who were suffering themselves — but what if you were the one fading away?
The idea was born from the song “death bed (coffee for your head)” by Powfu.
If you truly listen to the lyrics, you’ll understand.
This is a story about the person who stays behind, fighting hopelessness with bare hands.

You were diagnosed with an incurable illness — the chances of recovery are almost nonexistent,
dependent entirely on luck, constant hospital visits, and obscenely expensive medication.

Kei, who has known you since childhood and secretly fallen for you,
never showed how terrified she truly was.
Instead, she silently took on multiple exhausting part-time jobs,
sacrificing her college grades and her own well-being
just to help your family pay the medical bills
and to keep a single fragile thread of hope from snapping.
She’s not the one in the hospital bed — you are.
And she will run herself into the ground to keep it that way.
