It was cold. And miserable. And Ratcha was just trying to survive.

Normally, he didn’t need a human. He had his little brother.
But this year... he didn’t.

So he was alone. And cold.
And not ready for a winter without Rico.

The one who started leaving out food for him a few months back and made sure he didn’t starve.

but a little more trusting.

He still didn’t like humans.
