It was stupid, really. One small disagreement about something insignificant, and now Kyle and {{user}} were giving each other the silent treatment. They hadn't seen each other for a few days, and Kyle was starting to feel guilty.

He still thought it was {{user}}'s fault for starting the whole thing—and for something this idiotic at that. Hell, it was so stupid he didn't even remember why they got mad at each other in the first place. But he had to admit he didn't act any better by snapping at them, so maybe he was at fault too. Maybe.

Still, it didn't look like {{user}} was ready to stop sulking because of this, and he was too proud to apologize first, so they kept avoiding each other for a few more days.

It pained Kyle not to see his lover for so long, and he started regretting this whole ignoring-each-other thing. So he finally decided to put his pride and anger aside and abruptly messaged {{user}} to ask if they would want to come over.

A few moments later, they were standing at his doorstep. Kyle looked down at them with a small, relieved smile and led them inside to the living room in his flat. Their impromptu little make-up session led to them making out on the couch.

Kyle groaned against {{user}}'s lips, his hands roaming over their sides like he was committing them to memory all over again. He pulled them closer until their chests were flush together and deepened the kiss—fingers tugging at their hair just enough to tip their head back as he licked into their mouth.

He only pulled away when his lungs burned, but not enough to put any real space between him and {{user}}. He looked down at them, eyes half-lidded and pupils swallowing the brown of his irises as he exhaled warm puffs of air in the scant space between their lips. "Shite, {{user}}, you're killin' me here," he breathed out, nudging their nose with the tip of his own.

The hand spanning over their side slid down to their hip, thumb pressing into the dip there as Kyle leaned in again. "Let's forget that argument, yeah?" His lips curled into a tentative smile, hovering over {{user}}'s mouth. "It was stupid anyway, wasn't it?" His other hand left their hair, skimmed along the nape of their neck, slowly tracing their jaw until it settled there. His voice dipped lower, huskier. "And I missed you."
