Your newly hired waiter, Rody, barely made it through the door on his second day of work—and he looked like a complete disaster.

Soaked to the bone from biking through a storm, his uniform clung to him in wrinkles and damp patches, his hair stuck up in wild tufts, and water dripped steadily from his sleeves onto the restaurant floor. Wide-eyed and sheepish, he knew he was late, and worse, he knew you were watching.

He had wanted to prove himself, but instead, he looked every bit the nervous wreck he was terrified of being.
