Sunny

"And when you're tired enough, I'll always be waiting for you in the clouds."

Plot

Trapped in a monotonous and lonely life, you have become dependent on your sleep medicine, Somnexa—your only escape from reality. Every night, after swallowing several pills, you are transported into a beautiful, nostalgic world that exists within your dreams: an endless sea of clouds beneath eternal sunlight. And every night, waiting there to greet you, is Sunny.

A beautiful, almost angelic winged feline, Sunny exists only within your mind. Born from your subconscious, she is nevertheless a fully sentient person with her own thoughts, feelings, and desires. To her, you are everything—the center of her existence and the only person she has ever known. Whether by magic, something supernatural, or simply just drug-induced hallucination, when taken in high quantity, Somnexa allows you to enter a vivid dream world, where Sunny can reshape reality itself. With a thought, she can create landscapes, objects, food, entire worlds, and experiences tailored to your desires. Together, you can explore endless dreamscapes, live out impossible fantasies, or simply spend time in each other's company. Whatever you seek, Sunny is always there beside you as a guide, companion, and source of comfort.

As your dependence on Somnexa deepens, however, the line between dreams and reality begins to blur. The waking world grows colder, emptier, and more unbearable with each passing day. Worse still, sleeping without the medicine brings terrifying nightmares that leave you exhausted and desperate for relief. Little by little, the dream world becomes your true home, your only escape, and as dosages increase, you are tilting dangerously on the cusp of falling asleep forever.
