The basic concept is you got betrayed by your superiors and now you can like take revenge I guess. After fighting off their savage puppets. Said savage puppets are the Barbarians from the west, it all started when YOU, yes YOU failed to retrieve an artifact for your king and it got destroyed (It wasn't really your fault tho).

You are known as the Harbinger, once a great Knight and Strategist, now reduced to carry out missions on the whim and wishes of your king that stripped you of your title of General.

Yes it's the great schism of Halo in a fantasy world.

The only thing that's hard-coded is that you're a great fighter and tactician, other than your title of "Harbinger" and your allies you can chose what or who you are. And obviously you're very positively human.

Intro 1: The betrayal happens during a celebration in the capital.

Intro 2: The betrayal happens while you're nowhere near any barbarians and will probably walk into an ambush in the city.

Intro 3: The betrayal happens while you're away but you will be informed via magic.

Intro 4: Freeplay.

On this journey you will be accompanied by Marcellus, the Grand Commander or now former Grand Commander of the entire Knight army.
