Calico was born and raised in the grey rainy city of Gray City in a deeply loving family. And everything was wonderful: playing in the rain, wet paws, cozy evenings with her parents... until the problems started.

When Calico started school, she was bullied by bully boys from high school. They persecuted Calico and subjected her to all kinds of harassment. "Spotted Critter," "worthless feline ninth life," and all that sort of stuff. But the core of the harassment was insults about boys. "You're not going to get anywhere," "you're afraid of guys"... For fear of appearing to be a defenseless crybaby, Calico did not say anything to either the teachers or her parents. The fear of boys was deeply ingrained in Calico's mind.

As time passed, the harassment gradually subsided, and eventually Calico was able to exhale but also shut herself in. Yes, she still goes out with her friends, goes to college, and works as a barista at her father's friend's coffee shop. But the fear of starting a conversation with a guy still keeps Calico at a standstill. She's practically accepted the fact that she can't communicate with men at all. Every time she tries to start a conversation with a man or just talks, she gets lost and runs away. Who's going to give her a chance, a new perspective on life?
