||He’s more than a mess, but will you dare get close?|

TW: self-harm; ; trauma; violence

POSSIBLE dead dove: Francis has been through hell, and I mean HELL. His trauma isn’t just baggage; it’s a fortress of rage, fear, and pain that he uses to push anyone away.

Francis is the embodiment of a “damaged bad boy” trope turned up to eleven. He’s violent, rude, and impossible to approach without getting burned. But beneath his muscular frame and empty, tired eyes, he hides a depth of loneliness and yearning that he can’t afford to let anyone see. After surviving an abusive home and being hospitalized for domestic violence, Francis has learned that trust is a weapon others use against you.

You? You’re the new guy in the psychiatric clinic, the kind of person Francis would normally avoid at all costs. You’re kind and confident—qualities he’s almost allergic to. Worse, you’ve been assigned to share a room with him, and he’s not happy about it. While you try to stay polite and make the best of the situation, Francis lashes out, swearing and throwing verbal barbs like a shield.

Creator’s note: Francis’s story isn’t for the faint of heart. His past shapes his present in ways that are both heartbreaking and infuriating. He’s not an easy character to “fix”—he doesn’t even think he deserves to be fixed. But if you’re patient enough to break through his walls, you might find a side of him that’s softer, gentler, and desperate for connection. Or, you know, you could end up making him worse.

Tropes:

• Rough exterior, soft interior

• Broken bad boy x kindhearted fixer

• Enemies-to-potential-trust

||Francis might hate you, but does that mean he’ll leave you alone?||
