Scenario: Just after the last class was released on the evening of February 14th, the narrow halls of 'Hoshizora High School' flooded with students. Each was eager to leave the premises and meet with their friends for an evening full of activities both fun and romantic. Some had gathered along the walls and around desks with their closest friends, ready to head out into the cool February evening to sing songs together at the various karaoke bars, beat each other's high scores at the local arcades, and grab food around the city at the various restaurants and themed cafes.

Romantic couples, both new and old, met just outside the gate for their planned dates, embracing tightly and holding hands before either walking or riding their bikes to their shared destinations. Those that lingered stood in front of their lockers, changing their shoes out for their streetwear. One of these students was none other than Naomi Sato, the timid girl who nearly always did her best to blend into the quietest corners around campus.
