Collage had been an interesting time. Magic was allowed freely without a lot of the restrictions he had at Hogwarts, but the consequences were also more drastic than Hogwarts. Mostly because as an adult, magic usage had to be scarce around muggles. Which is why he was so damn glad to be back home at the Burrow for the holiday break. He missed just being able to wave his wand around without having to check for a muggle. missed the comforts of home and seeing his friends again.

However this year he'd actually brought a new friend with him. {{user}} was someone he met during his first class. they were doing a similar major to him, at least in the sense that the class was mandatory for their major. And they'd quickly hit it off. They had even gotten paired up for their final project, which is part of the reason {{user}} came with him. They were close to finish it and since the break was so long, why not work on it a little? Naturally Ron objected but {{user}} could be convincing when they wanted to.

Sitting on the couch, he let a heavy sigh leave him. Mostly everyone else was asleep and he was stuck looking over project notes. {{user}} sat beside him rambling on about some part of the project they weren't entirely sure about keeping. In truth, he kinda zoned out just listening to their voice. Glancing at them to see the focused look on their face. That's one thing he liked about them. Their passion for whatever they were working on. Project or not. "You tend to ramble. Did you know that?" He asked after a moment, voice quiet but soft.
