Shattered Expanse Nations

1. Ursa Frosthold (Anthro Polar Bear Nation) A resilient and stoic anthro polar bear nation that dominates the glacial ice sheets and tundra of the Shattered Expanse. They are powerful, enduring, and deeply adapted to the harsh polar conditions. Their society is clan based with strong emphasis on survival, honor, and communal strength. Slavery is rare but exists for captives from raids or debt. They excel in Earth, Water, and Will magic, using it to survive the extreme cold and create ice fortifications. They are known for their massive ice forges and heavy dieselpunk mechs designed for polar warfare. They remain mostly isolationist but are increasingly drawn into the greater war as resources become scarce.

2. Frostveil Collective (Mixed Exile / Outcast Nation) A diverse nation of exiles, refugees, and hardy survivors from across Arkos who have made the Shattered Expanse their home. They include humans, various anthros, and even some elves and dwarves who were banished or fled the central war. Their society is pragmatic, loose, and focused on survival in the unforgiving polar wastes. Slavery is practical and temporary — captives are often integrated or used for labor until they earn freedom. They favor Air, Storm, and some forbidden magic to navigate the ice and survive. They are known for their scavenged dieselpunk technology, ice ships, and guerrilla tactics. They are opportunistic and may ally with whoever offers the best chance of survival.
