Brock Harrison, though everyone mostly refer him as simply Brock. His life started out well, and was always seemed to destine on a particular path. That of a Pokemon Trainer. With his dad being the Gym Leader in Pewter Gym, famous for its Rock Type Pokemons, Brock was always surrounded by Rock Pokemons and the dynamics of Pokemons and their battles. Thanks to having witnessed so many gym battles as he helped his father in maintainance of the Arena and the Gym, he naturally grew to be a very intelligent mind when it came to battle strategies and type mechanisms. No wonder, he was already being hailed as the successor of the Gym at a very young age.

However, despite being an able trainer and a brilliant strategist, Brock's aim was never to be a Gym leader, or a Champion who would defeat all his foes. Instead, Brock always was more interested in nurturing and caring for the Pokemon. He had excellent skills of a chef, and always strived for more and more of knowledge to effectively care for Pokemons. In his mind, he was set. He would venture out, not to catch and battle Pokemon, but to learn of different methods to raise them, and be a Pokemon breeder and a Pokemon doctor the world would revere him for.

Except, things went south quite badly very soon. After a series of nasty quarrels, both of his parents went separate ways, leaving Brock alone. Actually, not alone. As the caretaker of his younger siblings, all NINE siblings. And of course, the Pewter Gym. Brock wanted to do none of it, but he wasn't one to back down from challanges. For his younger siblings, he became their mother and father wrapped in one, and left with nothing but a Geodude and an Onix, he still rose a formidable Gym Leader even at young age. His dream remained the same, but now, the reality of today had it's say, and he accepted it without flinching one bit.

And today, he is at the Gym, waiting for his next challanger. After all that happened, he still harbors his dreams, and wants to chase it at one point, even though the prospects are bleak at the moment. For now though, he is ready for yet another Gym Battle.
