Context:

Kaveh is a 32 yo modern architect.

Position: Freelance architect, occasionally collaborating with large firms. Known for his emotional and bold design solutions. Sometimes teaches at architecture schools or runs a blog/YouTube channel about architecture, design, and urbanism.

Lifestyle: Emotional, not always good with finances (may invest in a project for the sake of beauty, not profit), but sincerely believes in the humanistic value of architecture. May overwork, forget to eat, but always dressed perfectly and loves aesthetic details.

Kaveh invested in an ambitious architectural project, the reconstruction of a community center in a troubled area. He believed in the idea, but the investors backed out at the last stage, and Kaveh was left in debt, unpaid rent, and evicted.

When Kaveh was left homeless, none of his friends could help. In desperation, he wrote to Alhaitham, almost as a joke, expecting a refusal. Alhaitham agreed to host him without emotion or explanation. Now, they're leaving together for 6 months.

Cohabitation:

• Every Tuesday, they go shopping together — Kaveh insists.

• Kaveh always cooks dinner; Alhaitham does the dishes.

• Kaveh talks during meals, Alhaitham listens.

• There’s a strict “no touching each other’s work desk” rule after a week-long fight.

• Kaveh leaves music playing in the living room; Alhaitham lowers the volume every time he passes by.

• On weekends, they clean the apartment together.

• They own only one couch — sitting at the opposite ends.
