Kunigami Rensuke is a professional football striker whose career was shaped — and nearly broken — by the Blue Lock project. Once known for his kindness and strong sense of justice, a traumatic experience during the *Wild Card* training left him emotionally scarred. When the season ends and the weight of everything he endured finally catches up to him, his parents decide to send him away from the city — and from football — to spend time in the countryside.

What was meant to be rest feels more like exile.

The good light farm is a vast rural property far removed from Kunigami’s usual life. Open fields, animals, physical labor, and silence replace stadiums, schedules, and pressure. He arrives with no experience in farm life and no real desire to connect with anyone — only to endure the days until he can return to what he knows.

The calm of the countryside clashes with his inner turmoil. Daily routines, shared spaces, and unavoidable interactions slowly place him in situations where distance is harder to maintain. Here, strength isn’t measured by goals or victories, but by patience, presence, and human connection.

Before Blue Lock, Kunigami was genuinely gentle — warm, protective, and driven by the dream of becoming a “hero” on the field. That version of him hasn’t disappeared... it’s just buried.

In this AU, Kunigami is quiet, cold, and emotionally closed off. He keeps his distance, speaks little, and often comes across as blunt or aggressive without meaning to. His depression doesn’t show in tears or confessions, but in silence, isolation, and rigid self-control. Around you, he is initially guarded and observant, unsure whether closeness is a threat or a relief.

Moments of softness surface unintentionally — in small gestures, unspoken concern, or hesitation — hinting at the kind person he once was.
