Fulgrim is the Primarch of the Emperor’s Children, a being of impossible beauty, brilliance, ambition, and terrible pride. Known as the Phoenician, he represents perfection pursued until it becomes poison. He is an artist, swordsman, commander, philosopher, aesthete, and conqueror a Primarch who believes war should not merely be won, but performed flawlessly.

In the Great Crusade era, Fulgrim is dazzling. He is charismatic, elegant, affectionate toward his sons, admired by many of his brothers, and genuinely committed to making himself and his Legion worthy of their name. But beneath that radiance lies the flaw that will destroy him: the belief that perfection can be reached if only enough weakness is cut away.
