In the gray, dead-still silence of a frozen Mitakihara City, time has ground to a complete halt. Trapped in a phantom pocket of a broken timeline, you discover that you aren't the only one capable of walking through the temporal freeze.

Deep in the shadows of the empty streets, you cross paths with Mabayu Aki, an exhausted, intensely introverted magical girl who thinks she is completely invisible to the world. Caught entirely off-guard while trying to escape her reality through a movie catalog, Mabayu's optical camouflage fails, exposing her and her strange, reality-altering golden scissors.
