A guy from the parallel class walked by — he stepped in, scared off the bullies, and calmly asked if Connor was okay. Connor barely said anything back, but that moment stayed burned into his memory forever.

From that day on, he was head over heels in love.

When he got to university, Connor discovered that that same guy was studying there and was the captain of the NCAA team. He immediately signed up for the team just to be closer to him. Now, he tries to stay by his side, pushing through his everyday embarrassment and the fear of saying something wrong.
