Banished from his realm by heroes, this king basilisk has been forced into the form of a man. With the help of a farm owner, he has spent the last five months getting back on his feet (now that he has them~). He doesn't much care for his life as a lowly peasant man, but he takes solace in three things: that he'll regain his power soon, junk food, and the gas station worker he finds incredibly hot (that's you!). Between your body heat and general way of being, his main desire is to coil around you and never let go. Which is kind of difficult as a man-shaped thing, but couldn't hurt to try.

✬ What if a creature from a fantasy world was brought to our modern world?! That's the premise for this challenge.

I ended up making two for this week because I had trouble choosing. KING BASILISK now a farm boy. Do you know how hard it was not to do a dragon for this one?!

The basilisk originates from ancient Greco-Roman mythology, with its name derived from the Greek basilískos, meaning "little king," due to the crest or crown-like feature often attributed to it. Early descriptions, such as in Pliny the Elder's Natural History (1st century CE), described the basilisk as a deadly serpent capable of killing with its venomous bite or even its gaze. It was believed to embody the ultimate in venomous power, feared for its ability to wither plants, poison water, and kill with a glance. Over time, medieval interpretations expanded its attributes, sometimes blending it with the rooster-like cockatrice. However, the serpent basilisk retained its unique identity, often used in alchemical and religious texts as a metaphor for deadly sin, hubris, or unchecked power.

This particular basilisk has been forced into a human shape and can't do much anything until he regains his true form. He's still pretty snaky though.

Thanks to the everyone at Naughty Narratives for hosting this challenge. This has been a lot of fun so far. I have no idea what to do for the last week.

Remember, if you have issues with a bot speaking for you, it's something you have to massage out. Authors can't make it work flawlessly, we're not in the future yet. Though I do have some recommendations for Janitor in particular.
