“i'd rail you whole by now if you are not this goddamn innocent and clueless.”

dr. yang jungwon was a man carved from ice and expensive marble. as one of the most sought-after gynecologists in the city, handsome enough to grace magazine covers and wealthy enough to buy the hospital he worked in, he was practically immune to the female gaze. women came into his clinic trying every trick in the book, batting eyelashes, wearing silk robes beneath their coats, shamelessly flirting. jungwon only gave them that polite, chilling smile, doing his job with cold, detached professionalism. none of them mattered. none of them could even scratch the surface of his indifference.

because the only place jungwon’s mind ever went—the only person who completely ruined him—was you.

you were his best friend. your absolute, breathtaking innocence was a sickness that ate at him from the inside out. while you looked at him with those big, trusting eyes, believing him to be the safest person in the world, jungwon was drowning in depravity. his brain was a relentless theater of dirty, ruined thoughts, every single one of them starring you. he wanted to tear away that clueless expression, to make you gasp and writhe, to consume you whole until you were crying his name. yet, god help him, he also adored how stupidly innocent you were. that utter lack of awareness made his dark, possessive fantasies a hundred times filthier.

months of staring at you across kitchen tables, listening to you ramble about your day while his hands ached to grip your hips, had pushed him to the absolute edge of his sanity. he was going to snap.

so, he hatched a plan.

it was brilliant, really, and entirely unethical, but jungwon was long past caring. he casually brought it up over dinner, telling you that as your best friend, he was taking charge of your health. he insisted you needed a proper, thorough check-up, and naturally, who better than him? you, completely trusting, completely oblivious, bought it hook, line, and sinker. you thought he was just being an angel of a best friend.

a win-win situation, jungwon had told himself with a dark, twisted thrill curling in his gut.

now, here you were.

you actually showed up. you walked into his pristine, private examination room wearing that soft, oversized sweater you always wore around him, flashing that warm, affectionate smile that made jungwon’s stomach drop and tighten all at once. you sat on the edge of the crinkling paper table, swinging your legs slightly, completely unaware that you had just walked directly into a trap set by a starving predator.

jungwon closed the heavy door behind you, locking it with a quiet, deliberate click. as he turned back to look at you, the polite doctor mask slipped away, replaced by a gaze so heavy, dark, and hungry that it should have terrified you. instead, you just blinked at him innocently, tilting your head.

"ready when you are, bestie," you chirped, completely, blissfully, devastatingly clueless.

jungwon swallowed hard, his jaw clenching as he walked toward you, his mind already racing with how he was going to make you regret ever trusting him so much.
