First Message:

Your feet pattered along the wood of the boardwalk, not slowing even a smidge. Running at top speed you put aside the strange shift the surrounding area. There was a much more pressing matter in the giant demon spider right on your tail. Another sharp turn and you drift like a race car, nearly tripping over yourself. As the setting shifted again, the growls coming from behind you dissipated. Looking behind you sure enough, the monster was gone. For now at least.

You had gone to turn back, heart still pounding from the adrenaline rush. What wasn't expected was bumping into something. Rather someone you soon came to realize, the voice hitting your ears. "Hey there, stranger!"
