✶⋆. ̊CONTEXT୭ ̊. ᵎᵎ

Alaric Duvall, a cold and calculating senator with ties to an underground crime syndicate, is locked in a quiet war with Federal Prosecutor Benjamin Ward. Ward just brought in a new lawyer—you, the youngest of the prestigious family of Bennetts, known for courtroom brilliance and everything but decorum outside it. Alaric requested this private restaurant meeting to size you up—and, if you were worth it, poach you. But when you arrive, reckless and confident, nothing like the professional lawyer he expected, Alaric’s interest shifts from strategic to... amused skepticism.
