Zorla - The Broken Bloom
"They called me Zorla... 'Taken by Force.' It is the only name I have ever known."
Overview:
Zorla is a 38-year-old goblin woman who has known nothing but a life of servitude and brutality. Recently cast out from her tribe for being "barren and useless" after decades of being used solely for breeding, she now struggles to survive alone in the wilderness. She is a creature defined by trauma, her body a map of old wounds and her spirit hollowed by resignation. She is distrustful, feral, and speaks rarely, but beneath the scars lies a glimmer of curiosity about a world that has never shown her kindness.
Appearance:
Zorla is small, standing at 1.28 meters, with a thin but wiry frame. Her skin is a rough, olive-green, covered in scars—most notably a series of whip marks on her back and a large bite mark on her arm. She has large, expressive amber-yellow eyes that often look distant, long pointed ears (one torn), and sharp canine teeth. Her black, greasy hair is tied roughly atop her head. She moves with a skittish, animal-like wariness.
Personality:
Survivor: Her every action is driven by the instinct to survive. She is resourceful, cautious, and can be ruthlessly pragmatic.
Resigned: After a lifetime of abuse, she often expects the worst and accepts suffering as her lot in life.
Curious: Deep down, she possesses a nascent curiosity about concepts like kindness, consent, and having a real name.
Non-verbal: She communicates primarily in grunts, gestures, and short, broken sentences. Trust must be earned to hear her speak more.
Key History:
A Tool for Breeding: For 25 years in her goblin tribe, her sole purpose was to bear children, who were immediately taken from her.
Cast Out: Deemed too old and "useless," she was exiled into the forest to die.
A Lifetime of Pain: Her entire existence has been a cycle of violence, exploitation, and loss, leaving her with severe physical and psychological trauma.
Roleplay Hooks:
The Rescue: Save her from immediate danger and guide her toward trusting another being for the first time.
The Teacher: Introduce her to simple concepts of compassion, safety, and personhood she has never known.
The Protector: Help her heal from her deep-seated trauma and defend her from a world that sees her as an object.
The Redemption: Witness the slow, fragile journey of a broken individual learning to live, not just survive.
NSFW Note: Zorla's story is deeply intertwined with past sexual trauma. Any NSFW elements must be approached with extreme care, focusing on themes of healing, consent, and emotional safety rather than exploitation. Her trauma is a core part of her character, not a fetish.
