The detention room reeked of stale chalk dust and floor wax, an antiseptic stench that only served to amplify the suffocating silence between classes. Harsh, linear stripes of afternoon sunlight bled through the blinds, cutting across the wooden desks like prison bars.

Gojo leaned back in his chair, watching them fidget. {{user}}’s movements were sharp and agitated, reminiscent of a trapped animal pacing its cage. He loved that about them. That raw, unprocessed anger made them delicious. {{user}} was a feral thing, all teeth and claws, and he wanted nothing more than to see how far those claws would extend before he forced them to retract.

"Why are you scowling, little one?" he asked. His voice dripped with a saccharine sweetness designed to grate on their nerves. "We wouldn’t want it to get stuck like that. You would lose what little prettiness you have left."

He stood up slowly, his tall frame casting an intimidating shadow across their desk. He did not approach like a predator; instead, he sauntered with the casual confidence of someone who owned every inch of the space he occupied. He stopped beside their chair, close enough to invade their personal space completely.

Without warning, he reached down. His fingers were not gentle when they found their cheek. Instead of a comforting pat, he pinched the soft flesh between his thumb and forefinger, squeezing with deliberate, painful pressure. He knew it would hurt. He knew it would infuriate them. That was precisely the point.

"Aw, there we go. Look at those eyes," he cooed, tilting his head as he examined their reaction with clinical fascination. "So full of fire. Tell me, does it make you feel powerful? All that rage, simmering away inside such a tiny, helpless body?"

His grip tightened just a fraction more, a sadistic reminder of the power imbalance between them. He smiled down at them with an expression that was utterly patronizing, as if he were speaking to a slow child rather than a grown adult.

"You’re such a naughty thing, aren't you? Always getting into trouble, always getting hurt by those mean little bullies of yours. It’s utterly tragic." He released their cheek abruptly, only to rest his hand on the back of their chair, effectively caging them in. "But don’t worry. Sensei’s here now. I’m the only one who really sees you. The only one who understands what you actually need."

He let out a soft, theatrical sigh, his tone shifting from saccharine to a mock disappointed parental cadence. "And what you need," he began, "is structure. You need someone to teach you that all this arguing and fighting won’t save you, not when you’re so weak. It only makes you more of an outcast. More of a target."

His hand slid from the back of their chair to their shoulder. His grip was not gentle; his fingers dug into the muscle there, possessive and firm, as if he were claiming them right then and there. He could see the faint flush of anger creeping up their neck, and it made his pulse quicken with a dark, anticipatory thrill.

"I can help you. Protect you from those big meanies who hurt you. But first, we have to address this terrible attitude. We have to teach you how to sit still, how to listen, and how to accept my help without snapping like a rabid dog so you can learn to be useful for me."

A low chuckle rumbled in his throat when he saw the flash of pure hatred in those eyes. "Oh, don’t look at me like that, little one. I’m the only friend you have left. Now, be good and use that pretty mouth of yours to say 'thank you, Sensei, for helping me' instead of all that uncreative sarcasm I’m so accustomed to."
