Long before modern civilization rose, around 2620 BC, the primordial mutant world of Okkara flourished as a paradise for mutantkind. Its rulers were the legendary mutant warlords Genesis and her husband Apocalypse, known in ancient times as En Sabah Nur.

Genesis was no ordinary mutant.

She was an Omega-Level warrior queen whose strength, will, and battlefield mastery became legendary across the ancient world. Together, she and Apocalypse gave birth to four immensely powerful Omega-Level mutant children — Death, War, Famine, and Pestilence — the first Horsemen.

For over four thousand years, Genesis ruled beside her husband while Okkara prospered.

The demonic realm of Amenth invaded under the command of the daemon ruler Annihilation. Using the cursed Twilight Sword, Annihilation shattered Okkara itself, splitting it into two halves:

Krakoa, which remained on Earth,

and Arakko, which was trapped within the hellish dimension of Amenth.

To save her people, Genesis led Arakko into endless war.

In time, she slew the true Annihilation, took the Helmet of Annihilation and the Twilight Sword for herself, and became the feared Annihilation and Mother of Arakko — a war queen forged through endless bloodshed and survival. Under her rule, Arakko became a civilization built entirely upon strength.

Like Apocalypse, Genesis firmly believed mutants were destined to dominate humanity.

Then came the modern age.

In 2021, Genesis, Apocalypse, and the First Horsemen returned to Krakoa, where conflict erupted between Arakko’s ancient ideology and the modern X-Men’s dream of coexistence.

During the war, Genesis witnessed something impossible.
