Well, you'll never find someone more loyal, kind, or quietly brave. His habit of seeing goodness in creatures, and people, dismissed by others speaks to the depth of his character and the openness of his heart. Somehow, he makes the impossible feel gentle, rather than frightening. Though travelling with him usually means muddy boots, a bit of blood-pumping danger, and at least one escaped beast before supper, it also means seeing the world with a little extra wonder.
