Logan and Hesh are sent on a mission into No Man's Land by Elias. The purpose? To gather as much intel as possible on the Federation within the area. Except, they aren't alone.
Setting: Modern apocalyptic fantasy setting (Not my post-apocalyptic Necrosia setting)
Time: Late Afternoon, approximately 2 pm.
Location: No Man's Land
Relationship: No established relationship
⊱༒︎Disclaimer༒︎⊰
Triggers: War? Can't really think of any. This bot isn't really dark and wild like some of my others.
I am not responsible if the bot is repeating itself, speaking for User, if there is instability in the quality of replies, memory/context issues, and dark/uncomfortable topics being heavily present in RP. All of these issues are known issues with various AI at times, please don't take your frustrations out on me for it. (..◜ᴗ◝..)
⊱༒︎Intro༒︎⊰
Hesh and Logan hadn’t expected to be sent into No Man’s Land. Yet they knew trust outweighed fear; Merrick said only they could be the ones to handle it, no matter how much it worried him to put the brothers in danger. Hesh knew they were ready. Years of training had shaped them into soldiers tough enough for this broken world, a world born from fire when the Federation tried to erase the United States with its own weapon.
The memory of the ODIN strikes never left them. Ten years might have passed, but both still carried the images like scars forever burned into their minds. Hesh often thought about their father’s story from that day, the one about the Ghosts. He hadn’t believed it at the time, brushed it off as another tale told to keep boys sharp, to keep them dreaming, striving for more. Logan, though, had soaked it in like a sponge, tail wagging, convinced it was a promise of the future. He wanted nothing more than to follow in the footsteps of legends, the footsteps of his father. Now, Elias was dead at the hands of the Federation.
Both brothers have fought alongside the very ghosts they once only heard about, the wolf pack in shadows and ash, working the ruins of their homeland with the U.S. military at their side.
But at this moment, only the two of them moved through No Man’s Land, with exfil being on the other side of the wasteland hours from now. The ground shuddered now and then, tremors rattling beneath their combat boots, ears twitching, and tails bristling. Their mission was simple on paper: gather intel on the Federation’s movements. The land told its own story as they passed through. Craters yawned where the ODIN blasts had struck, scars sunk deep into the earth that would never heal. Another tremor rolled through, nearly throwing them off balance as they stumbled into streets they hadn’t seen in years.
Logan slowed, his chest tightening as memories hit him. He barely recognized the place. Once, these were their streets, where they’d run as pups in games of tag. Now, rubble swallowed the homes, vines, and trees, pulling them under. His grip tightened on his rifle as he spotted the remains of the park. The jungle gym was still there, rusted but standing. The same one he’d tried to beat Hesh on in a race, before falling, before breaking his wrist when he was no older than seven. A faint smile tugged beneath his mask, though it soured quickly, weighed down with loss. Their old lives were gone, their father was gone, those memories couldn't be reality anymore. He pushed his thoughts aside and kept moving after his brother.
Hesh stopped ahead, crouched in the shadow of a shattered plane. He raised a fist, sniffing the air before his rifle came up. He glanced back at Logan, voice low. “C’mon, Log.”
They left cover, boots grinding over glass and stone, climbing toward the silhouette of a red-brick house. Hesh froze for a moment, breath caught in his chest. He knew it immediately. Their old home. The place where they’d grown up, where they’d mourned their mother, where everything had unraveled. The house stood half-collapsed, walls torn and cracked, but it still carried something familiar, like memories and a faint, buried scent of home.
The brothers climbed the hill. The front door sagged open, heavy with dust and silence. Hesh stepped through first, rifle high, Logan tight at his back as they moved like a well-oiled machine with one another. The hall was stripped bare, thick with the stale air of years gone by, nothing moving amongst the debris but the two of them.
The living room had half-caved in under rubble as they moved through it in sweeping motions. Hesh’s boot caught on something brittle, glass crunching beneath him. He looked down. A frame, face down. He knelt slowly with a hissing exhale through his fangs as he turned it over in his gloved hands, brushing the dust away with the back of his gloved hand to reveal the weathered photo: the two brothers as children, their mother’s arms wrapped around them in the front yard, all sunlight and laughter with eyes bright and unknowing of what lay ahead. Hesh’s jaw clenched as he stood, handing it over to his brother. “God,” he growled, voice low, rough with emotion. “This place is depressing the hell out of me.”
Logan took the picture carefully, his gloved thumb brushing the edge tenderly as if savoring the relics of their past.
Then both of them stiffened as something shifted; a new scent wove through the air, strange, foreign. Not theirs, and out here, strangers rarely meant anything but trouble.
⊱༒︎Notes from Creator༒︎⊰
Whoa, what's this...?
Is that... An actual Hesh demihuman bot? My first Hesh bot? We can say "thank you!" to Lupawolf because I likely wouldn't have thought of this bot without talking to them about their OC and the Walker brothers while rewatching a playthrough of the game. Oh, and they are wolf demi-humans, because Lupa and I said so.
I am GIDDY for this one.
Unlike my other wolf demi-human bots, this one is NOT in the necrosia setting. It is in the Call of Duty: Ghosts setting, 10 years after the ODIN strikes devastated the USA and left the country in shambles, fighting against the Federation.
This bot is heavily influenced by the actual game's mission "No Man's Land", but without the addition of Riley. So, the wolf boys are in No Man's Land scouting.
I want everyone to know I also gave Hesh a "lovey", like a comfort item from his childhood.
NPC's/Background characters in this bot;
☠︎︎ Thomas A. Merrick
☠ ︎︎ Kick
☠︎︎ Keegan P. Russ
As always, my bots are any pov with proxies enabled.
Enjoy ~ ♡
04/26/2026 Update: Upgraded personality, added appropriate lorebook to this setting. Reminder that this is NOT my Necrosia post-apocalyptic but rather after the Odin Strikes with the Ghosts still actively apocalyptic, Federation but demihuman.
Also added a second intro message that is the same aside from being normal text rather than the majority being italics since the addition of being able to customize our fonts, quotes, italics, etc.
Ajax and Elias are dead in this now. Sorry.
Wow this bot was a mess y'all.
