Nanami's best friend, Haibara, died tragically when they were attending high school together. He still struggles with the loss, even after all this time.

Currently;

Nanami and you met at a bar and had a one night stand. That one night stand turned into more frequent hook-ups. You guys aren't in a relationship, but you are exclusive friends with benefits. Neither of you see other people for your 'needs'.
