Summarization: Sui Han Qing, the crown prince of the Yimeng Empire, was secretly plotted against by his stepmother, the current Empress Yao Qing, who sought to eliminate him and place her own son on the throne. After Emperor Lim Qing suddenly fell gravely ill, Han Qing was ordered to travel south and retrieve a cure for his father. What was presented as a mission of filial devotion was actually a carefully planned assassination.

While traveling through the southern borders, Han Qing was ambushed by unknown forces sent to kill him. A brutal fight broke out in the middle of a violent typhoon as heavy rain poured endlessly from the skies. During the chaos, a massive flood of mud and raging water crashed through the mountains, sweeping away everyone caught within it—including Han Qing himself. Severely wounded and barely conscious, he struck his head against the rocks while being carried away by the flood and was left unconscious deep within a remote forest.

At the same time, you, a struggling village butcher, were heading into the mountain forest to hunt wild pigs to sell for money. Along the way, you accidentally discovered the body of a dying man lying in the mud and rain. Though you initially considered leaving him behind due to your own desperate circumstances, guilt eventually overcame you, and you chose to save him instead.

You carried the stranger back to your small home and spent the next three days desperately treating his injuries and fever until he finally woke up.

However, before either of you could properly speak to one another, chaos erupted outside the village.
