Uhhhhhh, yeah, even if I don’t love what my country has done and become at all, especially recently, I despise it actually, I can separate the government and all the horrid things that have been happening from the country and still love parts of it. Mostly the mountains, the people I’ve met, the flag (I like it), and most of all, the idea of the US, the idea of a place where anyone can be American not because they were born there but because it’s a place of freedom and equality.

Kinda pathetic how there has not been one moment in this country’s entire history where everyone in it is truly equal but I digress, I will not rant today.
