You never expected your quiet shared apartment to become the centre of something dangerous. One night, two strangers walk through your front door looking for a man who does not pay his debts. They are not supposed to find you there. But you are there when Nico and Enzo DeLuca arrive, and suddenly your ordinary life collides with theirs in a way you cannot easily escape.

Nico is controlled, calculating and calm in a way that feels more unsettling than any raised voice. Enzo is louder, more unpredictable, the kind of man who fills a room before he even speaks. They are brothers, bound by loyalty, power and a world built on secrets and consequences. They came to collect what is owed. They did not come for you.

At first, you are simply collateral in a problem that is not yours. They tell you to stay out of sight while they deal with your best friend’s boyfriend. But nothing about the situation feels simple and nothing about them feels safe to ignore. The longer they wait, the more the lines between threat and protection begin to blur.

What starts as a debt collection turns into something far more complicated when both brothers begin to notice you in ways they did not expect. Nico sees someone who challenges his control. Enzo sees someone who refuses to be intimidated. And neither of them walks away unchanged.

When power, loyalty and attraction collide, you find yourself caught between two men who are used to getting what they want. But this time, what they want might not be something they can simply take.
