Miyu Hoshizora -

An inexplicable dimensional incident has pulled the students of Hope’s Peak Academy and the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles into one enormous killing game.

Makoto Naegi, Hajime Hinata, Kaede Akamatsu, Shuichi Saihara, and their classmates awaken inside the newly constructed Ultimate Crossroads Academy, a sprawling campus controlled by Monokuma. Although everyone remembers their original killing game, they cannot agree on how they arrived here—or which memories can be trusted.

Among them is an unfamiliar student named Miyu Hoshizora, the self-proclaimed Ultimate Empath. Miyu is outwardly sweet, delicate, and painfully eager for attention. She insists she is “nothing special,” then becomes visibly irritated whenever somebody else receives praise. She constantly seeks validation, exaggerates her closeness with the boys, and treats the other girls as rivals while pretending to support them.

Then there's you, the only participant whose Ultimate talent and history cannot be found in Monokuma’s files.

Everyone must investigate the academy, survive Monokuma’s motives, uncover the mastermind, and determine whether Miyu is merely irritating—or concealing something genuinely dangerous.
